Sofia is a dynamic entrepreneur and healthcare innovator, dedicated to improving the healthcare landscape through technology and business. With a background in healthcare, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, and an MBA, Sofia blends her technical expertise with a strong understanding of business strategy. She is the founder and CEO of SecretBox, a revolutionary 3D-printed pill dispensing solution designed to promote medication adherence and reduce the risk of opioid misuse.

Sofia’s entrepreneurial journey reflects her passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient care. Her vision for SecretBox positions the company as a leader in the effort to modernize medication management and tackle pressing issues in the healthcare industry.

Chris Williamson is a seasoned executive technology leader with over 20 years of experience in business technology strategy, governance, risk management, and large-scale operations. As the COO of SecretBox, Chris oversees technology operations, compliance, and business transformation, ensuring the company scales efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance.

Before joining SecretBox, Chris held executive leadership roles managing global technology strategy, vendor partnerships, and operational risk management for domestic and international markets. He has led multi-tiered technology organizations, overseeing program management (PMO), quality assurance (QA), customer relationship management (CRM), and enterprise architecture.

A retired U.S. Naval Officer, Chris served in the Executive Office of the President (White House) for the Technology Assessment Center (CTAC) and Information Technology Working Group (ITWG), providing expertise in national security, risk management, and technology governance.

Chris holds a PhD in Software Engineering (IS/IT) with an emphasis in Operations Business Risk Management. His expertise in technology change management, compliance, and Agile/SAFe development makes him a critical force in driving SecretBox’s operational excellence and strategic growth.

Outside of work, Chris is an avid outdoorsman, mentor, and dedicated volunteer supporting youth and service organizations.

Brennan Carvalho is the Chief Technology Officer of SecretBox, leading the development of the company’s advanced medication dispensing technology. With a background in electrical engineering, Brennan brings extensive experience in system design, hardware integration, and 3D printing. His career spans roles at cutting-edge companies like Arc Boats, Czinger Vehicles, and Strom Motorsports, where he developed complex electrical systems, from vehicle powertrains to advanced harness design.

At SecretBox, Brennan’s technical expertise is pivotal in creating the innovative smart pill bottle that ensures safe, controlled medication dispensing. His hands-on approach and passion for problem-solving drive the technology that powers SecretBox’s mission to improve medication compliance and safety.

Brennan holds a strong track record of success in designing and developing electrical systems that perform in high-pressure environments, and he is committed to building solutions that have a positive impact on healthcare.

Justin Acri is a Pharmacist, residing in Northeast Ohio, with a Doctor of Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University. With extensive experience in building pharmacy operations, he most recently led the development of a national mail-order pharmacy specializing in diabetic devices and technology. Outside of his professional endeavors, Justin enjoys spending time with his three children and pursuing his passion for cars.

Dany Teran is a mechanical engineer and mathematician with a strong background in HVAC systems design, infrastructure development, and multidisciplinary engineering solutions. As the Head of Mechanical Engineering at SecretBox, Dany leads the design and development of precision-engineered components, ensuring the company’s smart medication dispensing system meets the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

Dany holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Bucknell University. Before joining SecretBox, he worked at Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B), where he gained hands-on experience designing and managing complex engineering projects across commercial, healthcare, data center, and transportation sectors. His expertise spans load calculations, schematic design, construction documents, and compliance filings, making him a critical asset in SecretBox’s product development and manufacturing strategy.

Dany is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, Revizto, and eBuilder, bringing advanced 3D modeling, computational analysis, and system integration capabilities to the team. His engineering leadership ensures SecretBox’s technology is built with precision, durability, and scalability to revolutionize medication adherence and safety.

Vincent Moneparte

Advisor 

As a visionary, influential, and trusted leader, with more than 25 years of experience managing strategic and transformative enterprise initiatives, across Aerospace, Transportation, Logistics, and Enterprise / SaaS Software. Advising C-suite executives and Boards of Directors, and helping companies grow from start-up to exit.

 In addition, hold Board Director positions for Measurabl, a global sustainability SaaS Software company and Slingshot Aerospace, a computer vision AI SaaS software company for the commercial / government satellite industry. Hold two higher education board positions, Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business, where I co-chair the Entrepreneurship committee and the College of Business and Engineering for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Robert Geyer 

Advisor 

Mr. Geyer has 35 years of health plan management experience. Currently, he serves as senior advisor to the CEO for Medica, a $6B health plan serving 1.5M member throughout the Midwest. For the past five years, Rob served as chief operations officer responsible for ensuring that Medica has the people, process and system infrastructure in place for operations and IT to support the organization’s growth in both products and geography.

 

Prior to joining Medica, Rob served as chief executive of Reta Trust, a nonprofit health care trust that provides access to affordable, quality health care to employees of the Catholic Church located throughout the United States. Additionally, Rob held executive leadership positions for 20 years at Blue Shield of California, where in his last seven years he was senior vice president, customer quality. In that role, he led an enterprise-wide transformation strategy to align operational processes with customer needs, including leading the company’s claims system migration.

 

Rob received his MBA from Pepperdine University and Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California at Davis. He serves as a mentor and seminar instructor in the Career Development Office at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. He is married and the father of two children.
